Matt Breyer - President
Matt has been building since he was old enough to hold a hammer (somewhere around 4 years old). He has worked at a dairy farm, a custom sign shop, as well as working with a septic system installer, several masons, a commercial construction company, and two custom home builders. Matt has been with BC&L since it's birth, first as the lead carpenter, and now as the president. His primary responsibility is working directly with our clients to understand their needs and concerns, scheduling, and designing a project that exceeds their expectations. When not working, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, reading, rebuilding an old Jeep, and helping with his church.
John Breyer - Co-founder
John has been involved in building and landscaping for over 10 years, first in his own company, then with BC&L after the merger and incorporation in 2004. John is skilled not only in landscaping, but also in building, windows, and particularly deck installation. John's expertise has been instrumental in helping Breyer achieve its "Excellence in Everything" motto and train others in advancing this standard. John is currently serving in limited capacity with BC&L as he seeks to expand his potential and training in other areas of business, but his ongoing influence is engrafted into the team here he helped build. We look forward to his full-time return in the future.
Jason Pechart - Lead Carpenter
Jason has been a carpenter since finishing high school. He spent the first 12 years working with Stoltzfus Enterprises in Elverson, PA, where he learned framing and trim carpentry. After leaving Stoltzfus, Jason spent two years in commercial construction before joining BC&L in 2006. Jason is an excellent carpenter, factory certified Simonton window installer, and spends most of his time building decks in the summer, plus framing and trimming additions and finished basements during the Winter. This guy is SERIOUS about volleyball. Jason usually plays for two or three teams in the Reading and Pottstown area. When not working or playing volleyball, Jason is usually either splitting firewood or spending time with his wife.
Jeremiah Yoder - Carpenter
Jeremiah is newer to our team, joining us in the fall of 2009. While his past training in the US military has definitely helped to shape his abilities, it is his skills as a carpenter that have been put to use building decks. His friendly personality has already received client praise, and helped him become part of our team. Like other members of the team, Jeremiah is also a Simonton manufacturer certified window installer. When not here at BC&L, Jeremiah spends his time working on Jeeps and riding motorcycles.
Stacey Norman - Office Administrator
While Stacey is newer to our team, joining in the Spring of 2009, she has had administrative experience in a similar field for almost 10 years. Her background has allowed her to be a great addition to BC&L as she assists with client communications, project scheduling and permitting. Since Stacey only works part time, she has more time to spend with her family—enjoying outdoor activities and traveling whenever possible.
