Matthew C. Breyer — Operating Partner, Lead Project Designer
Matt has been building since he was old enough to hold a hammer (somewhere around 4 years old). He has worked at a dairy farm, a custom sign shop, as well as working with a septic system installer, several masons, a commercial construction company, and two custom home builders. Matt has been with BC&L since it's birth, first as the lead carpenter, and now as the president. His primary responsibility is working directly with our clients to understand their needs and concerns, scheduling, designing, and planning a project that exceeds their expectations. When not working, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, reading, rebuilding an old Jeep, and helping with his church.
Ryan LeBon — Project Manager
Ryan is passionate about construction, and has been surrounded by it since he was a baby. Joining the BC&L team in the spring of 2012, his primary responsibilities include scheduling and field project management. His degree in Construction Technology compliments his experience working in the field for nearly 10 years. He has also obtained many different certifications that help him excel in the industry. Ryan is always striving to improve himself and has become a great asset to the BC&L team. When he's not at work, Ryan enjoys cycling, golfing, hunting, cooking on his charcoal grill, and most of all, spending time at home with his family.
James Parker — Site Foreman
James joined our building team in Spring, 2013. His leadership abilities and attention to detail have helped him to become a great asset to our team. Before coming to BC&L, he worked as a maintenance man at a large facility for seven years. There he gained a wide variety of experience including framing, electrical, and interior remodeling. In his free time, James enjoys music, hunting, outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
Jason Pechart — Lead Carpenter
Jason has been a carpenter since finishing high school. He spent the first 12 years working with Stoltzfus Enterprises in Elverson, PA, where he learned framing and trim carpentry. After leaving Stoltzfus, Jason spent two years in commercial construction before joining BC&L in 2006. Jason is an excellent carpenter, factory certified Simonton window installer, and spends most of his time building decks in the summer, plus framing and trimming additions and finished basements during the Winter. This guy is SERIOUS about volleyball. Jason usually plays for two or three teams in the Reading and Pottstown area. When not working or playing volleyball, Jason is usually either splitting firewood or spending time with his wife.
Stacey Norman — Financial Administrator
Stacey joined us in the Spring of 2009 to take on the task of Office Administrator. She brought with her almost 10 years of administrative experience in a similar field. Her background has made her a great asset as she assists with client communications, project scheduling, and permitting. Stacey may only work part time with us so she can commit herself to spending time with her family and enjoying outdoor activities and traveling whenever possible, but we're glad to have her expertise during the time her family shares her with us and our clients.
Heather Miller — Office Administrator
Heather is our newest addition to the team. She comes with a decade of experience and a plethora of communication knowledge. She is here to help troubleshoot and keep the flow of productivity in the office. Her work doesn't stop here, with a husband who is passionate about teaching and three kiddos at home, Heather is a go-getter no matter what role she jumps in to.
Samantha Hanks — Marketing Coordinator
Sam originally joined the team in 2006 as an Administrative Assistant. As life progressed, she took some time off for schooling and then started a family. She is thrilled to be back and loves her position as she gets to create, inspire, and spread the word about our great company! She loves hunting, kayaking, and being goofy with her husband and three year old.
Helen Kurtz — Design Specialist
Helen joined our team in fall of 2013 as our Design Specialist. Her passion is meeting with clients and assisting them with the design of their custom outdoor living environments, as well as any interior spaces. With a background of 28 plus years of residential and commercial interior design experience, she excels at talking through current needs, future goals, and creating the best options for each client. When she is not working, Helen can be found spending time with her husband and pets, swimming, and serving at her church.
